The Problem
Social media frequently drives the desire to keep up with ever-changing fashion trends, fostering a culture of overconsumption. However, true style and a refined fashion sense are not defined by the quantity or novelty of your wardrobe but by how you express yourself through what you wear.
Research
Using competetive analysis, I analyzed four different style inspiration platforms. Through this I was able to gain knowledge of what is effective and what is ineffective. This knowledge aided my decision-making as I moved into the design phase of the process.
Magazine
Underconsume is a magazine that promotes stying clothes already purchased. Promotes a space for a community that values a life of "underconsumption" and gives tips and tricks on how to live that lifestyle.
